FAQs What is the difference between the two IR400 units? The IR400T is a dual channel headphone BUT the transmitter allows for hookup to a single source. A single-source transmitter provides hook ups for a stereo or a TV. If you have purchased an IR400T, Channel B will not be functional. This is due to the transmitter’s ability to process only ONE source. The IR400T2 is also a dual channel headphone BUT the transmitter is for hookup to dual sources. A Dual-source transmitter provides hook ups to both the stereo and the TV; two audio sources simultaneously. If you have purchased an IR400T2, Channel B will function with a source connected.
