This is a SUPERIOR product from a SUPERIOR company.
Everything that is stated in their product data is true. I have tried several other versions of Noise Cancelling Headphones (Bose, Etymotic, Sony, SkullCandy) and none of them compare with these.
In particular, the Linx Audio feature appears to function exactly as advertised. There is no longer a need to push my Sony MP3 Player at full volume. I am now using it at about 2/3 Volume so, in addition to less wear and tear on my ears, I am getting a lot better battery life on the MP3 Player side. It's somewhat of an added bonus. I had found that with the other brands (particularly the Bose QC2), it was necessary to run at full volume and even that resulted in somewhat muted sound. That is not the case here. The sound quality is excellent.
The quality of the Noise Cancelling excelled, as well. I had the unexpected 'pleasure' of sharing a 13 Hour Flight with several 1 - 2 year old children. Previously, this would have been pretty much intolerable. Not this time. I never heard a sound out of them (not that they weren't making plenty of them). They were barely audible.
Also, my experience with AblePlanet's Customer Service Team has been excellent. They stand firmly behind their product and are willing to make any adjustment needed to keep the customer satisified.
As for the previous comment about the headphones possibly not fitting smaller head sizes, I am afraid that this may be true. Fortunately for me, I have been blessed with 'cranius maximus' and am able to enjoy these in comfort for long periods of time on International Air Travel.
