Birdmann is a NBA Forward-Center with the Denver Nuggets. As a top rebounder and shot-blocker, Andersen received consideration for both the NBA Defensive Player of the Year and the NBA Sixth Man of the Year awards in 2008-09.
Chris spent part of his childhood in an orphanage and is now devoted to giving back to kids who are neglected and abused. He is actively involved with Mount Saint Vincent in Denver, a home for troubled kids. Chris also takes time out of his schedule to serve as a spokesperson for ACE (Alliance for Choice in Education). ACE provides scholarship money so low-income families can send their kids to private school.
