This is an entry level position
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain relationship with large and midsize retail corporate customers and buyers
- Planning/order tracking multiple online marketing promotions
- Fact and data checking of retailer and partner sites
- Set-up and maintenance of customer documents and product portfolios
- Responding immediately customer queries about daily orders, inventory, returns and shipments
- As a member of the sales team, functions include: administrative and client support, and buyer customer service.
- Participating in trade shows and marketing events
- Submitting required reports accurately, completely and on time.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Previous Inside Sales Experience Required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Solid business understanding- specifically related to communicating with both clients as well as internal team members
- Ability to work well and produce professional quality deliverables under tight time constraints
- Experience working in complex business environments and on high-pressure, fast-paced projects in a collaborative team setting
- Advanced problem solving skills/ ability to troubleshoot issues without requiring a lot of guidance or oversight
- Excellent work ethic, displaying dependability and commitment to our success
- Willingness and confidence to “own” new tasks & responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates will have a Bachelors degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
Preferred work experience includes 1 year inside sales experience or related internship, or consumer electronic retail sales.
Superior knowledge of accessing and using the Internet, HTML, and MS Office tools; knowledge of computer systems, communication tools and software such as Windows NT, FTP, HTTPS, SMTP, Internet security, and delimited file formats.
REQUIRED ABILITIES
Demonstrates ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously. Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with co-workers and the public. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside the department.
Salary: $25,000 – $30,000 depending on experience

Position Title: Controller

Rapidly growing and expanding consumer electronics company has an opening for a dynamic and energetic accounting expert in a fast paced consumer electronics manufacturing environment. Position requires an individual with a strong financial and accounting background and 7-10 years of experience preferably in the retail consumer electronics business. A CPA, and/or an MBA with emphasis in accounting is required. The candidate should have excellent skills in oral and written communication; experience in a distribution/contract manufacturing environment and the ability to design and implement processes and procedures for a fast growing company. In depth experience working with Excel is required. Recent experience with Netsuite is preferred.
INDIVIDUAL WILL
- Insure that proper and timely financial and other reporting is accurate and on time on a daily, weekly or monthly basis to distributors, retail customers, lending institutions and management.
- Track and forecast cash expenditures by week for rolling 6 month period.
- In conjunction with the above, insure through the factoring of receivables that sufficient funds are always available to meet near term cash requirements.
- Ability to lead company from a start-up Netsuite accounting platform to a robust ERP accounting platform.
- Make collections calls on an as needed basis.
- Provide management with weekly updates on unit sales by product and by customer.
- Develop detailed financial models to provide long term (2-3 year) P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts.
- Oversee all aspects of accounting function
- Perform month-end close including account reconciliations and financial reporting within 4 working days of month end.
- Annual CPA audit coordination
- Stock option accounting
- Provide financial input into all product pricing, rebate, discount and other promotional programs.
- Track all marketing/rebate programs to make sure they are being accounted for correctly and that each program is being administered correctly.
- Determine appropriate reserves for MDF, returns and allowances, rebates, inventory etc.
- Track all changes to product costs and keep management informed of impact on gross margins.
- Maintain and track BOM’s for all products.
- Determine D&O and P&C insurance requirements and obtain appropriate coverage.

Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible to manage all supply chain activities, including but not limited to the development of programs and practices to enable Able Planet to distribute products directly to its distributors and resellers, implement just in time inventory practices among our manufacturers, direct sales and authorized distributors; and provide a means to establish direct feed (EDI or other methods) between Able Planet and its resellers and/or distributors.
Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities
Operations / Facilities
- Oversee all warehouse operations
- Negotiate shipping/receiving programs
- Equipment, maintenance and supply vendor management
- Safety plan and related training requirements for warehouse staff
- Create and maintain standardized procedures and guidelines
Manages and oversees overall supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of materials as well as selection of vendors. Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. Coordinates and resolves issues regarding existing and new products. Interacts with customers to ensure that all requirements are being met. Requires 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
- Develop and manage Materials Planning function for goods and materials
- Create integrated processes among Operation, Purchasing, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process
- Maintain inventory log for all Distribution Centers
- Control inventory and maintain proper inventory reports and levels in main warehouse and present weekly to staff
- Manage and supervise staff to ensure products are shipped and received properly
- Pack and ship product to distribution channels on daily basis including generating address labels and shipping instruction
- Coordinate pick up and delivery with trucking companies and other courier services
Other responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training warehouse employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems with staff under their supervision.

Accounts Payable Clerk

SUMMARY
Compute, classify, record, and verify numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
- Accounts Payable:
- Codes and enters into inventory control software vendor invoices
- Check processing
- Enters debits/credits, resolves billing/payment discrepancies and works with Sales Department to ensure timely rebilling.
- General Accounting:
- Reconciles general ledger accounts and contact proper personnel to correct errors.
- Compiles information and prepares spreadsheets to assist in internal statement preparations.
- Verify incoming and outgoing wires and payments
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Netsuite and/or Quickbooks a plus.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS:
- Must have excellent skills with Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, V-Look up and reconciliation
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Excellent mathematical skills; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs a plus.
